Today I torqued the tank bolts using the beam torque wrench to get the drag amount - they were all between 0 - 10 in/lbs. so I added whatever was needed to the 23 Inch/lbs. for the nut, and set the click torque wrench and set them. Some had very little drag, as you would expect as these are just bolted into the nutplates, but a few needed some extra umph so that is now done. My order of 8-32 x 1/2" stainless torx screws came in so I was also able to affix all the screws to both tanks.
Last item for today's shop session was riveting the left flap hinge in place. Since both hinges were prepped and primed together, this one was ready for rivets and I used the pneumatic squeezer to set them. Last step will be the hinge pin keeper - that will be next session. I also pulled most of the blue vinyl off the wing - at least the side I could get to.
