Brief Description: Removed broken screw, removed tank
I worked on removing the screw and was finally able to drill the middle out and get a grab on it to get it out. I did some damage to the nut plate and decided to replace it now while I had proper access. That didn't take long.
With the screw out - the next project was to remove the fuel tank. Since the tank didn't just pop off, I knew there was something else going on. Upon further review, it ended up being the fuel tank sealant that was spread a little too wide on the inside of the tank and was "glued" to the spar. It took me a little while to finesse the tank off and then it was a matter of cleaning the tank sealant off the spar.
With that accomplished, the wing was set up and ready for riveting
