Brief Description: Cowling #11 - Top cowl paint gap
After traveling with the family over the last two weekends, I was back in the shop today and worked on the paint gap between the firewall and the top cowl. It is another dance of marking the gap spacing, removing the cowl, walking the cowl outside, sanding the edge of the cowl at the proper place for the guestimated amount, and then clecoing the cowl to the fuse and checking the gap. I did 5 or 6 iterations of the dance, trying to sneak up on the proper gap, and stopped short of the appropriate gap over the top and left side, with possibly too much gap on the right side.
