Brief Description: Storage hinge rework, skirt filler/sanding
The storage door was limited to about 45 degrees open due to premature contact with the back of the storage cover. To remedy that, I drilled out the hinge on the cover side and cut it down another 3/32" and then rehinged/re-riveted. It now opens to about 80 degrees which will be plenty. Next, I used the Evercoat filler to fill the "extra" holes on the front side of the cover that were drilled in error. Sanding down the filler was next and while I had the time and the filler can open - I went back to the canopy skirt. I did a few more iterations of filler on the rivet holes and then sanded it smooth.
