Brief Description:  Pilot stick CPC location

With the relays done, it is on to the pilot stick wiring. As I ponder those next steps, I look for places to secure the CPC connector to connect the aircraft wiring that transitions to the pilot stick. The first concern is routing that wire group from under the lower left console around the moving left rudder cable, which is like a little reciprocating band saw on electrical wires. I need to ensure the routing is clear of that moving cable. The next consideration deals with the maintenance issue, as I would like to mount the CPC to a non-moveable structure like the spar cap flange or the side console structure.

In the end, I followed Bob's lead and placed it under the pilot seat ramp. With the angled CPC sleeve, I can bring the wires well under the rudder cable wire and route them up into the 90-degree bend under the seat ramp. Maintenance issues are minimized, although I must remove the CPC when removing the seat ramp. No biggie.

I tested the seat ramp location by taping the assembly in place and ensuring clearance. The wires are routed close to the seat heat relay, but no factor.
