Joe will be coming over this morning to mount the engine so I spent some time with the new Permatex forma-a-gasket and got the backup alternator installed. Well, the instructions say to torque the nuts to 20 inch/lbs. in a cross-torque pattern and then torque the nuts a second time to 90-110 inch/lbs. I started with the difficult one and got them all to 20, and then took it up to 105 inch/lbs. on the three nuts and marked the BU alternator that I needed to go back and tighten that bear of a nut.
