Brief Description:  The Bird is Alive!

Big day in the shop today! I wanted to get the boxes tested and ensure the smoke stayed in the wires where it belonged. So I cleaned the shop, brought out the Garmin boxes, and methodically installed the boxes into the panel in preparation for the big test.

With the avionics installed and all of the circuit breakers pulled, I took a deep breath and flipped on the Master Switch...nothing happened, as expected... first test, PASS.

One by one, I electrified the avionics :

- I pushed in the CB on the GDU-465, and it came alive - PASS

- I pushed in the (2) CBs on the GTN-650, and it came alive - PASS

- I pushed in the CB on the GMC-507, and it lit up - PASS

- I pushed in the CB on the GMA-245 and turned on the "ON" switch, and it came alive - PASS

- I pushed in the CB on the GTR-200 and turned on the "ON" switch, and it came alive - PASS

- I pushed in the CB on the G5, and it came alive - PASS

I also tested the TCW Backup Battery functionality, and it powers the GDU-465, GEA 24, GAD 29, and GSU 25 as wired. The Extra Bus switch also powers the two rows of CBs as expected. Abig sigh of relief.
