While doing the avionics box fitting, I also considered the remaining items on the "wiring" to-do list. One of those items is the terminations for the three incandescent bulbs (Smoke Pump On, Low Volts-Alternator 1, and Low Volts-Alternator 2). Initially, I was going to use twelve knife splices to attach these wires, and when a bulb burned out, I could undo the knife splices and replace the bulb. Since I will still need to soldier the new bulb anyway, I decided to use the 6-pin AeroLED connector I have in stock and make it one connection for all twelve wires. I drew the pinout diagram, labeled the wires temporarily with tape, and crimped the pins on the bulb side.
