I got the items primed today. Most of the work was stringing the items up and mixing the primer by weight with the catalyst, while actually shooting the primer didn't take long. I did have to wait 15 minutes between the initial fog coat and the heavier second and third coats, and I have decided that I am just not good at painting - so it's definite that I will not be painting the exterior of this airplane. But on the bright side, I am the world's best orange-peel painter...very consistent with the orange peel. But since none of these parts will be seen, that's just as well. I got them all primed, cleaned up the gun, and moved the "stand" inside the garage for overnight drying/curing.
