I wanted the Delrin insulation to be secure, so this is an excellent opportunity to incorporate Delrin insulation into the battery hold-down itself. Using the 1/8" angle, I fabricated a new battery hold down with Delrin attached with countersunk rivets. I prepped and primed the battery hold-down before back-riveting the Delrin.
I put the battery post adapters back on the battery, improving the terminal/wire geometry. Since I already had the longer 2 AWG wire, I cut it to fit the current configuration as it runs from the positive battery post on the left to the battery contactor on the left - straight shot. The negative/ground wire will need to be made longer, but it is a straight shot across the front of the batter from the battery post to the ground post on the longeron.
