Brief Description:  Bob visit - Day 2A

With our sights on getting the GSA-28 Pitch Servo installed and wired, we determined that we needed to install the elevator control pushrods, at least to the bellcrank, before we could get the pitch backshell wired and the battery tray re-installed. While Bob was patiently working on the solder D-sub, part of what I was doing earlier was gathering up the elevator pushrods and hardware, dusting them off, and moving things around to get them installed in the fuselage.

Once again, Bob volunteered to get back in the cramped tunnel, which works out best because he can tell me what he needs, and I know where in the shop it is located and, in some cases, can retrieve tools before he asks for them. But kudos again because Bob was back in that tunnel, attaching the elevator pushrod, putting pitch servo pins in the D-sub/backshell, and installing the pitch servo. The pitch servo was complete, except for the airframe ground wire I am saving for later, and it looked great back there! The only thing left was to move the battery tray back into position.

That's when we realized that the battery cables (bus wires, etc.) were going to be touching the pitch servo. Hmmm, more work to do before we can call the pitch servo done.
