Brief Description: Making the avionics rack removable - L
I purchased some #6 nutplates to make the avionics rack removable from the front of the panel. That will allow for easier installation and removal of the panel. I finished the left side of the rack as it has the stiffener on it so it took a little longer than I expect the right side will take.
Another first... I drilled my hand for the first time on this project. My buddy Rob seems to have done this quite a few times, so I had to share the news with him. I am sure mine was not as good as his, as he has much more practice than I do at this type of thing. Now I need to deburr the hole so that there isn't a chance that it develops a stress crack later on down the road. You can never be too careful. Maybe I will pierce my ears next?
