Brief Description:  Wood cutting for seat planks

I need to determine how much cushion is needed to sit at the right position (seat bottom height and seat back forward amount) for both the pilot and the GIB. These comfort fit seat cushions have a certain amount of give with the form fitting function and comfort, so the way the desired seat dimensions are determined by getting a compressed dimension. They suggest using phone books, plywood or anything that won't compress and since I have some extra plywood laying around, I cut some back planks and seat planks. The seat planks are just for the butt to sit on while the seat back planks are long and tall.

I measured and cut the planks and then cleaned the sawdust off the planks...it took more time to set up, measure and clean up than the actual cutting, but that's the way it goes.
