Brief Description: More #2 wire securing – under console
Going back to where the #2 wire transitions from the wing spar area to the gear towers, the wire runs under the left side console where the fuel selector is located. I wasn’t happy with that wire just hanging there, so I came up with a solution using a clip-on nutplate that attaches to the fuel selector angle. This wire is now very secure, and I can tie my other wires to it along this run. See pic # 1
Bob provided me with the very small washers that will go on the four nuts holding the remote ELT switch on the panel. I installed those four washers. See pic #2
I made the cut on the #2 wire and crimped on the large connector (using the hydraulic crimper) where the #2 wire terminates at the starter contactor. I didn't have a heat shrink tube large enough for a label on that end, but I hope I can remember what that wire is. Might just write on it with a thick sharpie. See pic #3
