The big Garmin boxes arrived from Approach Fast Stack today. I went thru the packing list, opened each box, and verified undamaged contents. Although, as well as these things are packaged from Garmin, I would imagine they would survive any harsh shipping treatment other than being run over by the delivery truck. Very impressive.
In picture #2, is the GSU 25, ADAHRS (Air Data/Attitude/Heading Reference System) this is a small computer that uses sensor technology to accurately measure inertial, magnetic, and air data to derive what altitude I am flying and heading...but that's not the point. The point of the picture is how well the small unit is packaged in the relatively large form-fitting protective cocoon.
