As I said, when you clean up one thing - the next ugly pops out at you. For me, that was the fuse panels. They have been needing attention on a few fronts. Since I went with more circuit breakers, I have need for less fuses and so I got rid of one panel altogether and was now able to move the battery bus to the drop-down panel door - so all 3 fuse panels are now on the drop-down door. This will help with changing fuses when needed.
I also decided to finalize the position and label of each fuse - so that was the next order of business. Not a big deal, but just another thing that needs to be done. I also installed the ELT remote.
This was a good exercise, as I have been thinking thru how I would run the wires that power my buses. It was about this time that Bob let me know that he in the middle of a road trip and his, "tech support" phone line was open. Good timing - so I took him up on it and we further discussed our electrical plan/design, and I am one step closer to being mentally clicked in.
As with the panel lettering, I must roll it around in my brain until it's ready, and then I commit to it.
