My rear baggage LED lights have started failing and I don't hardly have any hours on them yet, so they need to be replaced. The other lights in my fuse (from the same company) are not failing, but I have not been happy with these LEDs and I found a new supplier from my buddy, Steve. Let's hope these are better... well, I don't have to wait to tell you, these are definitely brighter.
I re-wired the new LEDs with the proper terminals and then climbed in and pulled out the old lights, cleaned the surface in prep for the adhesive and connected the wires and stuck the new lights in place. I powered up the APU and presto! Lights...bright lights! I also did a quick test with some of the excess length I cut off, and these are brighter, even when dimmed by the rheostat. I will be ordering some more of these lights and will be replacing the old LEDs at some point in the future. Thanks for the source, Steve!
