Brief Description:  Pitot Temps

I was curious about the temperature that the pitot was reaching so I hooked up the thermometer on my multimeter...ok, so I actually had the multimeter out to check the Amperage draw first, but more on that later. I was quite surprised at how hot the pitot was getting... see pictures below.

The amperage was showing about 1.8A on the multimeter which seems very low - so I am not sure if it was user error or something else - but I did get the temperature readings and that was interesting. Total heating time today was 1.5 hours and the recodings were taken at the end of the session.
