With the decisions made as to what I will have on the panel and where I want it to go - I can now move on from the planning phase of panel design to the documentation (for making cuts) phase. I spent some time tonight measuring and marking the center point of the boxes by getting the 2D boxes in place and then using a pin to mark thru the center of the box and into the drawaing below. Then I measure the x,y distance from the 0-0 centerpoint. Bob will use these x,y dimensions to make the panel cuts.
