Brief Description:  Ran fishing line for future wires

I did some pre-wire fishing line runs thru the wing and fuselage conduits. Ran a total of 7 lines for future wire pulls: Three in the wings and 4 in the fuse.

I tied fishing line to a cotton ball and then with compressed air, I blew it thru the conduit. The other method I heard about is to pull the cotton ball thru the conduit with a vacuum – but I felt like that method might suck up the cotton ball and the line after it went thru the conduit. The good thing about the compressed air method is that once the cotton ball is thru the other side there is no more restriction in the conduit and the conduit “sings” from the free flowing rush of air. It’s more like a high pitched squeal – but the cotton ball quits moving and no more line is pushed thru the conduit, signaling success.

Now I can pull wire thru the conduit. I also ran a line part-way down the wing that exits the conduit at the pitot and roll servo location for those wires.
