I measured and drilled the corner holes for the canopy latch and then using the dremel cutting wheel, I cut along the lines between the holes - then files and smoothed the edges.
I installed the latch but there was a bit of a gap between the top of the latch and the bottom of the door - so I cut out a scrap piece of metal and drilled, dimpled, deburred and riveted it. I also added a stiffener to the door and then cleaned the storage assembly and then primered it. Now all it needs is paint and it will be done...but I will need to wait for more favorable temps.
