Continued COMM issues, such as static or poor Tx quality and internal adjustments and settings were only partially improving the situation.
Had identified the COAX for the SV-COM 425 as RG-58 and needed to replace it with RG400, but finally got around to removing the seat floor to accomplish that task. Tests seem to show improvement judged by the needing to decrease the radio volume (Rx) after changing. Stronger incoming signal level, and verified by COMM performance data in the SV COMM-425 performance panel.
Also had to fabricate a replacement UHMW block that was supposed to secure and tension the aileron manual trim. The block had broken into 3 pieces.
