Gary Towner (DAR) did the onsite Inspection this morning and issued the Special Airworthiness Certificate along with the Phase 1 Op Lims (Operation Limits).
The inspection process was professional, timely and efficient. He outlined the expectations in advance, reviewed the status of the builder log, Registration, and preparations of forms that needed to precede the onsite review. (Notarized forms, for example).
Towner inspected the flight controls for range of travel, continuity of control, and security. He checked the placards and panel layout, especially for intereference.
The Op Lims include a variety of terrain and airports available to complete a 40 hr Phase 1, and fulfill all areas of flight test.
