Brief Description:  Seat floor replacements

Frustrated with the time consuming process using a plumb-bob to transfer fastener locations, I decided to try a clear plastic to 'record' and transfer the locations to the floor skins. Might have been easier with a slight thicker and translucent plastic, it did solve the problem and was faster.

First, fastened the plastic to the aft seat floor holes with clecoes, and then inserted some clecoes thru the plastic into the ribs of the fwd seat floor area. Had to straighten and secure the ribs from flexing - and used a Sharpie to mark the hole locations. The cleco holes 'marked' some holes.

Second, inserted the new floors under the plastic and carefully drilled thru the plastic to 'start' each new hole. (Had to remove and clean at least twice) Drilled thru a few holes to insert clecoes and secure the position of the skins.

Third, finished drilling thru all holes. The holes were later enlarged and aligned more accurately to ensure best fit without overly enlarging screw holes. (see next entry)
