Fabricated the replacement canopy frame locking lugs (to compensate for weatherstrip). Finished trimming the Right side weatherstripping (to fit the tighter frame clearance).
Finished final adjustments on the canopy release latch - fabricated a new component for the mechanism, and changed the ratio of the lever. Adjusted the pivot washer to bottom side of latch, and filed/polished the angle to smooth operation when closing.
Fiberglass fairing on the empennage is still not fitting well, and added glass/resin to close holes, and change the shape. Sanded material to shape.
Added micor resin to Right wingtip to 'fair' the lens to the LE. Sanded when cured.
