Brief Description:  Rudder - reskin/rebuild

Pulled the rudder down from the wall hook, and re-visited the 'oil-canning' question. Was never 'happy' with the effect and an effort to eliminate it during the initial construction did not satisfy the concern. Upon re-evaluation I realized there was a defined 'curve' in the Trailing Edge, and decided to re-skin it.

After drilling out all the required rivets and removing the 'skeleton' it was re-evaluated and decided to NOT re-use the few components. The cost of replacement was reasonable and the rebuild time will be better spent on a completely new rudder assembly. ID'ed the part numbers from the Vans new CD plans, ordered them all.

Upon arrival, inventoried, and separated the stiffeners from strips into individual parts. Deburred the edges and counted again. OOHH - did not order stiffeners for BOTH sides of the rudder. Re-ordered with the mission pieces added.
