Very tedious to carefully fabricate the components and avoid a 'big mistake' which would be a set-back on so many tasks. A careless measurement or misalignment could be very problematic at this point.
Used LP4-3 blind rivets to attach 1) F-7117B (aft) and 2) F-7117A (forward) while working in tight spaces. Note that the F-7117A top section is FREE to FLEX between the ribs to allow the bulky strap and H/W to pass between for installation. The web of the F-7117A screws to the seat pan. On the next disassembly the components need paint.
Positioning the kit as far aft as possible makes some final assembly difficult, but does ensure that the crotch strap is in the position to function (if needed). Installation of this optional 5-pt crotch strap kit adds rigidity to the ribs under the seat pans.
