Brief Description:  Wing Root Fairings

Spent too much time on this task, but too many interruptions to feel comfortable drilling nutplate/screw holes near the fuel tank rivet line.

Measure, measure and do it again.

Spacing of 2.5" is okay but needs flexibility, too. The QB wing has no 'open holes' to intersperse in the wing roob rib, The alternative is a line along the inboard edge of the top skin where there is room for nutplates.

Could use a strap duplicator for some of the holes along the aft portion of the wing, which would be flatter, but on the forward portion of the tank the duplicator adds curvature and does not 'match-drill' holes. Combining the two methods of 'blind offset' alignment adds more risk of missing the center of the allowable edge distance.
