A bit tedious and frustrating to get the measurements until I discovered that I had drawn a reference line that was not parallel to the edge. Helped to erase and start over.
Started working on the trimming fairing inboard edge, but after #40 holes and doing a 'first nutplate' for reference dimensions the tank was removed. Did all the remaining work with the tank standing upright on outboard end.
There are 3 problem areas; 1) aft ends of top, 2) joggle area (fastener?) between tank and wing aft section, and 3) the aft end bottom overlapping fuselage skin. Flap slides under the wing section where a nutplate might go. The dimension between two holes is large. The overlap is a new question of how to finish with fairing.
Will have to do the remaining nutplates (wing aft section) with the wing pulled partially out. Right wing should be patterned largely from the work done on the left.
