Brief Description:  Wiring the rear of the fuselage

After bolting the ADAHRS unit to the tray with stainless steel screws (I checked them against a compass to make sure they were real and not a chinese immitation, no magnetic field generated), I moved onto the wiring and spent lots of time getting frustrated trying to route wires through very small gromets, I eventually got there but it was a pain in the butt experience.

I have run the Tail Strobe and Elevator Trim Servo cables to the rear of the fuselasge, the section just behind the baggage bay contains the ADAHRS unit, which has been wired with power (not connected to battery yet), network connections and temperature probe. The temperature probe is installed in the last bulkhead just before the horizontal and vertical stab, I used an existing tooling hole to install it.

I have also installed the cabling for the auto pilot pitch servo, even though I will not install servos for a while due to cost.

All the cables are routed under the baggage floor, pax front seat and then through the spar through the locations identified in the plans, its pretty tight down there but I think I have installed everything I need.

I am going to try and run coaxial cables for the radio and transponder under the pilot seat just to keep things seperate and reduce the chance of noise being introduced where it is not wanted.

The red tubing you can see in Image 1 is to stop the seat belt cable from scraping against the shelf when there is not pax keeping it in tension, I donehte same to the pilots seat belt cable to keep things consistant.
