Brief Description: Drilling the canopy to the frame
|

Everything was going so well, 35 degrees C in the garage and I marked the frame and drilled all the holes with a #40 drill, I then re-installed the canopy and started drilling the canopy into the frame using a plexi glass drill.
I drilled the rear canopy frame top down on each side and then drilled all of the left side, I then moved to the right side, and drilled from the rear forward, as I drilled the very last hole, bang a 3 inch vertical crack appeared, I quicky stop drilled the crack to stop it spreading any further, I then poured super glue into the crack and clecoed it.
What a bummer I am going to be looking at this crack for a long time as I am not inclined to buy a new canopy....sigh.
At least its on the passenger side, but I am sure I will look at it each time I scan for traffic...
