Brief Description:  Map box installation

Waiting for the epoxy to set, I thought I'd continue with my map box installation, I had assembled and painted the map box a few weeks ago and thats when things stopped.

Having installed this today, I would say if your thinking about it, do it now, it would be a nightmare after you have finished the build.

The worst part of this was actually the rear cut out, estiamting how large it should be was a rear pain and took much longer than I though. There is only one horizontal measurement supplied, the rest is up to you.

I ended up using the angle grinder to cut and enlarge the hole, and I finally got there after many many itterations. Even then I got the hole slighty too large, the support angles take up the slight slack though.

The fit is tight enough to stop things ratting around, however this means that my hammer finish paint does get scratched up a fair bit when you insert and remove the map box mainly beacuse of the domed rivets used in the assembly of the map box.
