Brief Description:  Rivet rudder trailing edge

This evening I removed the aluminium angle from the rudder after checking that the proseal had set. I then loaded all the holes with rivets and followed the instructions setting every tenth rivet with the back riveting set and then coming back and setting every fifth rivet etc. I managed to put a couple of small smiles in the rear of the skin with the back riveting set as you need to start parallel to the rivet and then move to parallel to the trailing edge. Still nothing a little primer filler won't solve. After all the rivets had been set with the back riveting set you move to the flush set and set them fully. I am pretty pleased with how they came out, but as always when you slightly mark the skin in a few spots it is disappointing, however looking at the rudder it came out quite strait, which was the main objective.

Next job is to curl the leading edges...
