This afternoon I made the two internal control rods, after cutting all the parts to the required size, the internals of all the tubes where coated with etch primer and allowed to dry. Once this was done I drilled and riveted the rod ends into the smaller aileron control rods.
Anne-Marie gave me a hand to lift the wing into the cradle, after which I lined up the aileron as per instructions and mounted one of the control rods in the wing, at the moment the alignment bracket is holding it all in the vertical position.
