I removed the tank this evening and then removed each tank rib one at a time, clecoed it onto the spar and back drilled into the Z brackets using my angle drill. Ian came over and gave me a hand preparing the inboard tank nose ribs for the access covers and also marking up the large L angle that will be turned into the nose attach bracket between the fuse and the wing. As usually happens I was getting tired and grabbed the wrong orientation rib (left rather than right) for the right side tank and ended up drilling the wrong rib for the access cover. Not too bad though, a new rib costs $15.79.....plus postage $15.00 and should be here next week.
