Brief Description: Fitting fiberglass tips to elevator
Its been a while since I have put any real effort into making progress, one its winter and its very cold out in the garage, tow the Olympics are a distraction, but today was a beautiful day with temps in at 15 degrees so I decided that I had put off fitting the fibreglass tips long enough. I cut and installed some aluminium strips inside each elevator tip using 5 minute araldite and once this had set, cut and trimmed the fibreglass and the lead counter balance weight to get a good fit, the left side went well but the right side tip cracked as I tried to flex it into place, it will require some filled and then need to be sanded back.
