Had Warwick and Dusan over today to help out, Warwick is doing a spray painting course and showed me how to setup the gun properly which was great.
I shot a single coat on the wing, but deviated for what I did for the cowl and wheel pants and did a normal coat, rather then a tack coat first and the result was paint runs on the trailing edge, I will let these harden and then sand out the runs and also scuff the whole wing before giving it another two coats.
This time I will lay down a light tack coat and then a finish coat.
The finish on the rest of the wing is surpurb and if I can get the plane like this I will be over the moon.
I hate learning the hard way, but I seem to be sooooo good at it.
