Brief Description:  Installed and rigged the flaps

I had Dusan and my father over today after my flying got cancelled at the last moment.

I needed to refit the wings so that the flap push rods could be installed and the fuselage side skins cut to allow the push rods to be attached to the flaps.

First job was to cut drill and tap the push rods, easy peezy, the fitting was also pretty strait forward, a couple of itterations of drill, cut and fit and its was done.

Both flaps have a range of 42 degrees, the flap skins where they meet the underneath of the fuselage need to be bent up slightly so that they touch when in the retracted position.

The gap fairings were then installed and drilled, I now just need to fit the nut plates to the wings and drill and dimple the gap fairings.

Now onto the painting, the guy I had lined up had pulled out, I guess his quote was too cheap, so I am yet again going to paint, I just can't come at $10,000 to $15,000 at the moment.
