This evening I pulled the rudder cable through the fuselasge and then made and installed a pair of rudder fairings out of some scrap aluminum using a large screw drive, hammer and a block of wood with a grove filed into it, to form the crease.
I managed to put a couple of small marks on the right fairing when riviting it, the left sdie came out perfect. Both fairings where etch primed on the underside before being riveted to the fuselage skin.
I also installed adel camps on both sides of the rudder cable sheath as per the plans, this was a real pain as the clamps are a bugger to copress once they are installed.
