Cylinders 2 and 4 have been honed and new rings installed. Oil has been changed back to red band for a 15 hour run in period. New Oil filter installed New plugs installed Upper cylinder baffels have been removed and new larger baffels placed between the barrels on the underneath of the cylinders to force air to cool these more efficiently (I hope).
I am also installing a new variable pitch prop (ground adjustable) and am going to add a lip to the lower cowl exit in order to increase the suction and hopefully increase cooling.
I also need to look at the size of the cowl exit in relation to the air intakes, this needs to be at least a 1 : 3 ratio of inlet to exit somehow I think mine is a little on the small side, will measure this next weekend.
