Yesterday we dropped the lower cowl and installed four receptacles for camlocs. After reinstalling the lower cowl we installed camlocs along the back and reinstalled the upper cowl. We had drilled the camloc holes on the upper cowl so we installed a few camlocs. Most holes will take -4 and probably -5 camlocs, most of which we didn't have. So back to Spruce for those camlocs. We installed a device that Dean designed in the area of the oil access panel. We cut the wires, 12 gauge, and hooked the wires to positive and negative. We can now trickle charge the battery through the oil access. I borrowed the scales to weigh the plane from our EAA chapter. Today I taped a plumb bob to the leading edge of the wing to establish the Datum. From there I measured the arm to each main tire and the nose tire.
