Brief Description:  Finished drilling cowl holes

We finished sanding the sides of the upper cowl to fit better with the bottom cowl. We did this several times to get a better fit. Finally, the cowl parts fit together reasonably well. We then drilled the sides and the back of the cowl at the firewall. We clecoed everything together. The gap at the front of the cowl and spinner is about 1/8". We marked the exhaust pipe exit at the cowl and drilled a #40 hole. From there we used a step drill bit to expand the hole. Dean then used the power nibbler to expand the hole further. I used a file to smooth the edges. The hole for the exhaust pipe is now complete. We need to weld the two eye brows on the exhaust pipe for the springs that attach to the exhaust manifold.
