Brief Description: Installed door hardware on Passenger side
Installed the door hardware to the passenger door. Several problems surfaced. I noted that when the front handle unlocks the mid latch it does not clear the longeron. I cut about 3/8" standoff from 3/8" fuel line for the front handle to sit further from the door. Also, the front handle will need to be bent to give clearance with the striker plate. I installed the rear latch pin that engages the rear latch pin angle and it is binding. I did drill the latch pin guide at an angle of around 15 degrees but maybe the pin will need to be bent a bit. Also the rear latch pin will need to be shortened and tapered again. All told the movement is tight and needs to be adjusted.
