Brief Description:  Finish Cyclics

I got all the cyclic connection finished today. This includes the female end that will attach to the vertical panel near the cyclic. I was able to use the cutoffs from the cyclic cables for this end. A lot of work but it will look nice and should be durable.

The small red plastic pieces in the picture are the "tools" you get to install the pins. They are crap and will break on the first pin. I instead stripped the wires back about 3/8" then when soldering the pins on I also allowed the solder to covery the entire wire down into the insulation. This made the wires very stiff and allowed me to push them in with the needle nose pliers also shown.

Lots of wires, but at this time I will be using the cyclic for:

1. PTT
2. Ident
3. Acknowlegement of alerts from the EFIS
4. Turn the landing light on and off.

I have it wired for the following

1. 4 way trim
2. Governor on/off
3. Mini guns

Found a couple of wires in my main harness that were unmarked. Crap. Thought I was going to have to cut the bundle apart but I figured them out. I had labeled them but the labels had slipped all the way down to the Instrument Pod end.
