Well, I slept well and figured out how to safety-wire teh vacuum pump bevel gear to the camshaft. Not too bad once I figured out the starting hole to use in the screws!
Next, got out the parts for all of the connecting rods. Got each one ready, placed in squence, and installed the berings and lubed them up with SAE 50 oil as pwer TCM. Torqued each rod to the crankshaft. Had to remove and swap the nuts on just about every of the 4 rod assemblies - I could not get the cotter pin holes to line up within the torque range allowed.
