Getting back on-track for finishing up the engine install.
First up was re-connecting the engine hoist. Raised the engine just a bit and loosened the left lower mount to allow it to resettle into the center spot in the engine case. Wasn't off much, and Zenith (Roger) said it *should* be OK, I just wanted to make it a bit better. Sits much straighter now, and all the bushings just seem to sit better.
Once that was done, I installed the cotter pins in the end of each bolt.
Next, I installed the oil temperature sender
I had previously installed a flex line to remote-mount the oil pressure sender. Found an Adel clamp to fit the sender, along with one to mount it to the engine mount tube. Since the sender is not installing directly into the engine case, I need to ground the sender case. Tried soldering a lead to multiple places on the sender case to no avail. Surely there's some straightforward way to ground this thing. Installed the NPT-to-flare adapter.
