Received my new altternator on Friday. Installed the new drive gear I previouisly purchased from AirPower onto the unit. Lubed the gear and installed on the accessory case. Used metal locknuts torqued to 200 in lbs to install.
Spent some time tip toeing thru the EFIS to verify some prior settings and to ensure everything still functioned correctly.
A long time since last activity. Was mostly waiting for AirVenture, which happened last week. Was looking for special deals on Plane Power alternators. Found one where I didn't have to use my old alt as a core charge. That, plus we were in Kansas for the 4th of July, then it was Oshkosh prep.
