Beautiful day so I figured I'd better finish the painting. Of course, after all was done, cleaned, and put away, I realized I still need to paint the rudder... Oh well, another day.
All 4 flaperons already had one side painted from yesterday. Today was a simple matter of putting them on the saw horses, setting up the spray equipment, and shooting them. Went relatively quickly and easily; I adjusted the amount of thinner in the overall mix; maybe that was it.
After I cleaned up I took a break. Realized after about an hour I still had plenty of sunlight, so with my helper we applied the front portion of the left side vinyl graphic stripe. Still have a lot of finessing to do to it, but will roll out into the sun for tomorrow to help it dissipate the bubbles. Relatively few, by the way, so I must be getting better!
