Brief Description: Paint top of 4 flaperons / repaint lower horiz sta
Started toda by working the other 2 flaperons in preparation for paint.
Scuffed-up the surfaces, then wiped-down with mineral spirits. Wiped several times with clean rags and shop towels. Primed top side, waited a bit in the sun, then flipped over and primed the lower furfaces.
For the poor quality of the lower horizontal stabilizer, I scuffed up the poor areas with 320 grit paper,then cleaned well.
Moved everything out to the paint area.
Resprayed the horizontal stabilizer. Looks much better; took a lot of time and going back over it to layer-up some more paint.
Sprayed the top surface of two of the flaperons, then found support braces and sprayed the top of the remaining two.
Still have to shoot the lower surfaces of all 4 flaperons.
