Brief Description:  final wiring cleanup

As I was trying to fall asleep last night, a thought crept into my head that kept me awake awhile. I made some loops in the harnesses for panel removal access ease, but I then went and clamped everything down well to keep vibration issues to a minimum.

Today I remvoed the EFIS and EIS to see if I could get a screwdriver in there to remove the DB25 connector. Nope on both. Snipped some zip ties to free up enough wire slack, then rebunched the wires and cleaned it back up. And scratched my panel in the process. ugh.

I then applied some grommet edging to some L angle I had to provide support for wires from the panel to the firewall and made some standoffs to provide support for the main harnesses.

Completely forgot to install the audio speaker for the ELT system; I just wired the RJ11 jack from the ELT directly to the remote switch on the panel. Dug out the speaker and installed on the bottom of the map box; reconnected the wires properly.

Spent a lot of time running the Ray Allen grip switch wires around the console occupants for safe wire routing. Applied heat shrink tubing to the harness conenectors.
